About

Thirty years of print, pixels, and purpose.

I started my career in Silicon Valley and came to Colorado by way of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I earned a degree in Graphics Communications with a minor in Computer Science. That combination — print craft plus technical thinking — is still what drives me.

For eight years I ran Mac systems and supported a prepress network at Cook Communications Ministries, a major Christian publisher in Colorado Springs. I learned the full production pipeline: typesetting, color management, plate output, file prep, press runs. That grounding in how print actually works has made me a better designer, a better buyer, and a better problem-solver ever since.

From there I moved into marketing leadership. At All Copy Products I became Director of Marketing and spent five years building campaigns that grew revenue an average of 15% per year. My biggest single win: launching a new IT services division from scratch — no leads, no brand — and building it to $100,000 in monthly inbound leads within twelve months. I did it with a mix of SEO, email, social, and direct mail, all tracked and measured down to the dollar.

Since then I've worked across a wide range of industries — marketing DoD drone integration programs, designing infographics for Forrester Research, developing operator training documentation for industrial inkjet equipment, buying print for Ascension LLC, and doing UX design for Department of Defense software platforms. I've held a SECRET security clearance, managed national accounts with worldwide travel, and presented to military and civilian leadership.

Today I do most of my work for faith-based organizations — serving as a one-person marketing, design, and technology team for Infernomen, Emmaus Journey, and Pikes Peak Citizens for Life.

I'm a practicing Catholic, a DIY renovator (75% of my house and counting), an Eagle Scout, and a husband and father of four adult daughters. I start every morning with prayer before I start work — not as a ritual, but because it actually helps me think clearly.

If you're looking for someone who can sit at the intersection of strategy, design, and operations — and who takes the work seriously because it means something — I'd like to hear what you're building.
