The Challenge
The companion piece to the DoD Joint Test Overview, this document needed to present complex test methodology in a format that technical reviewers could follow step-by-step while remaining accessible to non-specialist stakeholders. Dense procedural content required careful typographic hierarchy and clear visual separation between phases and sub-procedures.
The Solution
Extended the design system from the Overview document while introducing additional structural elements: numbered procedure steps, decision tables, and process callouts. The result was a technically rigorous document that reads clearly at both the executive summary level and the granular procedural level — consistent with the Overview in visual language and printing standards.
